Silent Students Happy Homes

ARU Students' Union is part of much wider community, some of whom don't always see students as their favourite people. But we believe that students can be a really positive part of local lifestyle. Whether you're coming home from an event or just relaxing with your friends outside, all local residents have the right to enjoy a peaceful community. Please remember the simple phrase...

Silent Students Happy Homes!

We've been working with the Chelmsford Street Pastors to help you have a great night within the local community. On average they clear up 90 broken glass bottles each week from the city centre. That's a lot!!! If you're out and about please remember to have decent footwear and avoid taking glass out with you - not only can it be dangerous if it’s dropped but it makes a lot of noise.
