Events Management volunteering opportunity to be involved in a Music Festival in Ely. Please respond to Yvonne by 5th July 2012 noon if you are interested.

6 volunteers needed as ticket office assistants to be responsible for the smooth running of entry to the festival. The main duties will include checking off the surnames of customers and allocating wristbands accordingly as well as any other main production tasks that may arise. Candidates should be extremely organised, be able to remain calm under pressure and have an interest in event production. Shifts will be a maximum of 5 hours each day (with breaks). Staff will be required on-site by 1-am on Friday the 6th of July for a team briefing. Box office opens at 12 noon on Friday and 9am on Saturday the 7th of July.
10 volunteers needed as stage assistants to assist the stage manager with any tasks and to be the point of contact for all artists/DJs coming to the stage. The most important time on each stage is the artist changeover, and the role will involve ensuring this is as smooth as can be! Candidates should be approachable, extremely helpful and have an interest in stage management. Shifts will be a maximum of 6 hours per shift. Staff will be required on-site by 2pm on Friday the 6th of July for a team briefing. The stages run from 4pm-2.30am on Friday and 12 noon to 6am on Saturday the 7th of July.
