Volunteers are needed to help Ormiston Children and Families Trust fundraise at a local weekend festival, The Secret Garden Party, on Thursday the 25th of July and Monday the 29th of July 2013 (The rest of the weekend is free for you to enjoy the festival!)
Volunteers will be required to work as part of a team and help festivalgoers to put up tents on the first day, assist with the charity's activities within the festival during the weekend, and help clear up the campsite once festivalgoers leave. Tasks include putting up tents for festivalgoers in return for a charitable donation, handling of cash, helping with other charity activities within the festival as required, and clearing up campsites and individual areas in return for charitable donations.
In return for volunteers at the whole weekend, including clearing up, you will be issued with a weekend pass! (limited numbers available)
Volunteers will require their own camping equipment if you wish to camp for the whole weekend. Water and snacks will be provided during the times you are volunteering. Volunteers will be given scheduled times in advance and will be expected to not consumer alcohol before and during the volunteering time. You'll need a real get up and go attitude and to be confident enough to ask for £5 donations for Ormiston in exchange for the work you do!
Volunteers can also help for one day during the weekend - either the first or last day - to assist with the big tasks of setting up tents and clearing up. A weekend pass will not be issued to volunteers who do not help for the whole weekend, however.
