What are your main duties and how do they benefit others?

As Representative of International Business Management Accelerated, I do my very best to help my peers and supporting them in whatever they need inside and outside of the University. I focus on issues that we as a group of students face in our course and I try to raise those issues and hopefully be able to fix them so we can all enjoy of a better University experience.

What have you enjoyed most about volunteering?

All the learning process and everyone I have met along the way and that keeps inspiring me to do more for my colleagues.

What skills have you learnt and used during your volunteering?

How to positively connect with people and how to make my voice be heard with staff in a polite way, even if it feels frustrating sometimes.

What inspires you to volunteer?

All the things me and my peers feel first hand as not being good practice around the University / Course.

What is your favourite volunteering memory?

The First Aid training. It was a fantastic time and we learned so much!

Why do you love volunteering?

If things are reported they tend to actually change and it is really rewarding to see your hard work having a positive impact.

Do you have any last thoughts or comments?

I would tell current and future students to volunteer and to be part of the so many opportunities offered during our time at University. Its amazing how much we can learn, help other and meet wonderful people.
