Make a difference in the world. Join the SHoKE Community and Spotlight on

We are excited to announce the latest SHoKE spotlight project working with METAL Peterborough, Collusion, Peterborough Cultural Alliance, and Babylon Arts who are known for bringing communities together through unique arts and cultural projects. This year's challenge open to all ARU students is to help answer the below question:

How can small creative organisations generate alternative kinds of sustainable income to keep arts alive in the East of England?

Share your ideas, and be part of the change.

If you submit an idea, you can claim your volunteering hours spent developing and creating it.

Spotlight On... are four-month projects that generate a wide perspective on a major challenge that requires innovation and creativity.

We challenge the entire student body to submit their creative ideas to our partners, who select the most promising ideas and commission student intern teams (PG and PGR, UG if an idea is chosen) to provide in-depth analysis and propose implementation strategies.

Your contributions matter - our communities are trying to develop solutions to the many challenges we are facing. You can help them by working collaboratively in a team and practically applying your experience/ skills to create fresh thinking solutions.
