The buses provide a haven at the centre of the nightime economy for anyone who is vulnerable or at risk.

- Giving emergency first aid and medical care. Open Road works with Remote Medic UK, registered healthcare professionals. This means fewer people end up in hospital 

- Reducing anti-social behaviour, violent crime and fights caused by drug and alcohol misuse 

- Supporting people who have been overcome by drugs and alcohol 

- Supporting vulnerable people at risk from theft, violence, mental health issues, abuse, homelessness and harassment 

- Giving practical help in contacting friends and relatives or help getting home 

- Providing a place of safety

- Working with pubs, clubs, the Police and Street Pastors to give on the spot support to help diffuse trouble

We work alongside paramedics for first aid support which can give students great experience if this is something they are looking to get into.
