Over 800 new students were at East India for Welcome Week; the energy and excitement had the campus buzzing!

Set as a special ‘Lunch with the SU’, students mingled with their fellow new starters and learnt more about our representation system, student-led projects, campaigns and societies. There was a thoughtful touch from our advisers, Ahrany and Aisling, who encouraged students to reflect on their happiest life moments and fears.

Adding to the fun were some of the other departments at the university. The Employability team organised Human Bingo while the team from the Learning Resources Centre discussed all the opportunities available to our newbies.

The SU team were delighted to see so many of you participating in the To-Do List activity and making guesses in the “How many sweets in a jar?” game. Wondering how many sweets were really in the jar? 111! Check your student email to see if you were a winner and find out how to collect your prize.
