MANIFESTO

Candidate for the position of BA (Hons) English Literature - Year 2 Rep

CHARLOTTE WEST

As an English Literature student, I know how important it is to have a secure link between the SU, staff and students. It provides a secure and transparent environment which supports the constant improvement of the course and promotes the wellbeing of students and staff, alike. Now, more than ever, feedback and communication are vital to the success of the course, and of the students, and I would love the chance to make the course a more happy and secure place as we go through such a huge period of transition.

If I were to be the course rep for English Literature, I would aim to:

- strengthen the communication and feedback between students and lecturers to ensure full understanding and support in such a difficult time.

- maintain, and strengthen where I can, the relationship between the literature department and the Students' Union to promote transparency between the student's experience and the feedback provided to the Student's Union.

- to, consistently and respectfully, gather the feedback and opinions of my classmates regarding their course, course structure, curriculum and their transition into online/blended learning to ensure a happy and comfortable teaching style which allows all students to thrive.

Thank you for reading - Vote for me!
Kind regards,

Charlotte West.
