Hello
My name is Holly and I have chosen to put myself forward to be your Rep for the Foundation Psychology students of 2020.
My reasoning for this is I feel I work well alongside people, I have good intentions and strive to improve.
If I am chosen be assured that you can message me or approach me anytime with any ideas or concerns, they would always been welcomed and listened to by me.
I have drawn a lot from my life experiences and I have a great appreciation for all people and passion for diversity, inclusion, equality, LGBTQ and kindness to all.
My background? Who am I?
I am 27 years old and born one of 4 girls (all older, except my twin). I have just moved to Cambridge from Southampton where I lived for 2 years, before that I worked a season in Greece and I was living in Peterborough for 5 years and lots of places around Hampshire previous to that.
I have been working before and during the pandemic as a Nursing Assistant in Neurology before moving bank and looking after patients on Covid Wards, A&E, Mental Health, Paediatrics, Oncology, Leukemia & BMT, Spinal, ENT, Gastro, Respiratory, Neonatal amongst other specialities. Along side this, I have completed my level 2 in Counselling skills and I am just finishing my Level 3 in Counselling Skills now.
I am a big advocate for Mental Health. I trained to be a Samaritan and Peer Support Navigator for Solent Mind and I did a fundraiser for Papyrus prevention of young suicide.
I enjoy sport and fitness although I am rather rubbish at it! I like live music, art, forests, experiencing new things, animals especially goats and I love Thai cuisine and Italian
All in all I would like to put myself forward for this because I feel I would be a great candidate
- Holly :)
