I have always been committed to giving a voice to people who may feel theirs instead quite loud enough. It would be an honour to represent the LGBTQ+ community at ARU and to make sure that your thoughts/opinions/wants are heard, not just by me but by those who can implement your wants into your university life. Therefore, I would ensure that I create a safe, comfortable environment in which everyone and anyone felt they could speak. Your voice matters, i would love to remind you all of that as often as possible and encourage you all to share your ups and your downs of being a part of this community at ARU to create positive changes for both your time at university and those who come after you.
