Hi there! 

My name is Shirin and I’m standing for nomination as your Year 3 course rep for Graphic Design.

I promise to express your needs and concerns to the students union and faculty department and to give timely feedback to you from them.

As a BME - I am half Hong Kong Chinese, half Persian - and international student I promise to represent minorities and the international student body by voicing our concerns and making sure our needs are met! 

Vote for me! I truly want to represent you and make your voice heard! Together we can really make a difference!

Some things I plan on proposing are:

• Free stations providing hot water in winter so we don’t freeze!
• Voting for choice of food in the canteen so we can choose delicious meals.
• Social and support groups for new and returning students for us to get to know each other better!
• Dedicated Library book return collection service teams or stations so that you don’t have to walk far or leave home/dorm to return your library books.
• Creating networking and introducing job opportunities for graduating students to ensure a smooth entry into the workforce for the graphic design faculty.
