My name is Shruthi Sundaresan and I want to be the Medical Science course representative for Year Two. More than ever, this year requires detailed and clear communication between students, lecturers and the SU. I have the ability to help with the interaction between these groups, which I established in Year One by frequently talking to the SU as I am a committee member of a society. This role has also helped me improve my interpersonal and sociability skills due to the task of talking to different people regularly. I believe that integration and approachability are major factors to being the best representative. I will always ask for opinions and feedback that will go to the relevant officials who will further help the reductions of any issues and are acted seriously upon. Although this year the interaction between students in person may be limited, I hope to increase the social aspects of our course and present myself as not only a source of producing feedback but also as a member that can be spoken to irrespective of the issue. Finally, I am confident that I will help make this year a better year for us all and hope to be your Two Rep!
