Hi everyone, my name is Lexie and i am running to be a course rep for Biomedical Science 20/21.

From helping others out last year and over the turbulent summer, I have gained a deeper knowledge and understanding of how smoothly people would like the course run and some of the repeated issues, which were sorted out. Because of this, I feel as though I would be a good choice for course rep as I know the standard people would like to see from this course and university. 

I am easy to approach and talk to and also a good listener, and with that comes a good level of understanding which I will apply to situation when helping people out and relying the information correctly to faculty members, and working closely with them to achieve the desired outcome. I will endeavour to continue to put people worries at ease by either giving them the information required (if I know it!) or by ensuring I ask the relevant people asap to get the answer as quickly as possible. I believe now is an important time for all of us to connect and communicate with each other, as we are facing scenarios we didn't think we would be when joining university, and I want to be able to help create a safe and fun learning environment for all, albeit online. For example, this could be ensuring the PowerPoints have been uploaded far enough in advance or that people can access everything they need to, and providing suppport for people.
