It would be an honour to be a course rep for our Midwifery cohort at Peterborough. I pride myself on my commitment to others and ensuring everyone's needs are being met. It is imperative that we can all get the most from our time studying and with my experience as welfare coordinator for my section whilst in the RAF and in my current role, this is something I feel confident I can achieve. I have set up both Facebook and WhatsApp groups prior to the course starting for our cohort to be able to meet and support each other. Although covid restrictions meant we haven't been able to meet in person as previously planned, myself and Josie have organised a faux freshers night hosting a quiz for the rest of the cohort. It is in small ways like this, we can try and make our experience the best it can be. I understand it is a frustrating time for us all but would love to be the voice that represents your opinion and will endeavour to work with staff and students at the SSLC to find the best solutions for us all for any issues faced. I know we may not know each other well yet but I hope to be a friendly, approachable, supportive face you can come to with anything you need. I will always strive for fair outcomes for all.
