The primary aim of this project is to assist students with the cost of living while simultaneously supporting local businesses that often go unnoticed on popular platforms like Unidays and Student Beans. By bridging this gap, we aim to create a stronger sense of community between ARU students and the wider local community.

Student staff are needed at our Cambridge, Chelmsford, and Peterborough campuses. As student staff, your main task will be to engage with local businesses and negotiate student discounts. You'll have two weeks to sign up 10 businesses at your own pace. Upon achieving this goal, you'll receive a £100 gift voucher of your choice as a token of appreciation. This will also enhance your CV and demonstrate your commitment to community engagement.

At ARU Students' Union, we prioritize caring for both our students and the wider community. By participating in this campaign, you'll contribute to a win-win situation where ARU students benefit from cost-saving opportunities, and local businesses gain valuable exposure and support.
