As part of ARU’s continued support for students during the current financial crisis, they have introduced a bursary specifically for commuting students to help combat the high cost of living. The cost of travel and transport can contribute greatly to a student’s expenses, as well as adding additional pressure and stress.
Students who are eligible for the ARU Bursary can apply for the non-repayable grant to help towards the cost of their travel to campus. The bursary is open to students who drive, get the bus, train or cycle into university. Full eligibility terms and conditions are available from the link below.
Applications for the fund close on the 30th of June for non-final year students and the 31st May for final year students. The fund is limited and may close before the following deadlines if funds are exhausted.
You can find the full information on the bursary and how to apply HERE.
