Former SU vice president Adebisi hosting the awards

On Monday 11th July, the SU brought the ARU London community together at the SU Awards – the first major in-person event since before the pandemic, and what a successful night it was.

Hosted at our East India campus, the evening was the opportunity to celebrate and reward the fantastic and inspirational students and staff who have made a positive impact at ARU London over the last year.

Former Vice President, Adebisi Sasi, returned for hosting duties, and spread her charm throughout the night.

The atmosphere was electric. We raised a glass to the years successes at ARU London, and to the wonderful efforts of Adebisi, who has been a testament to representing the student voice and ensuring it is heard.

The ceremony was followed with food, more drinks, plenty of socialising, and a live performance from ARU London’s very own Joe Gaya!

“The evening was well organised and gave us all the opportunity to come together for what has to be one of the most amazing social events I have attended on campus,” said Adebisi. “It was smiles, laughter and joy all round. A night I will never forget. It was fabulous, and I loved the prosecco.”

Our Course Champion of the Year, Cristina Badea, said: “Thank you for all your comments and your support! I am grateful to all who have supported me throughout the year and given me this opportunity! I cannot thank you enough.”

It was incredible to see so many students and staff get together to celebrate one another’s achievements, and the SU team would like to thank everyone who voted and attended the event.

Check out our winners below and look out for photos from the event on our Facebook page soon.
