Hello everyone!

It gives me great pleasure to provide you with an update over my activity this past month.

With regards to my priorities for this term, I am in the final planning stages for 3 campaigns: Academic Integrity alongside our SU advisor and Faculty members; SU London Student Awards which will be held next year in order to offer a greater recognition for the students in the London campuses and Global Week Celebrations at the beginning of next year where we are looking to celebrate diversity as well as build friendships.

On the matter of the accessibility in terms of the website and resources available to students, we have now invested in a fantastic new toolbar on the SU website which allows for high quality translations in 29 other languages and other tools that make reading the information on the platform easier.

As you all know we now have a new representation structure with an additional 12 new roles which gives students a stronger voice. We have had an amazing month of elections with an outstanding number of students running for the roles. On the 22nd of October I had the first Forum with the elected Course Champions where we had the chance to get to know each other and I’m looking forward to working closely with them in order to create a positive change for the Student Body.

I would like to reiterate the fact that I am having monthly meetings with the Principal and the Director of Studies to discuss any current matters pertaining to the feedback I get from you. I would further like to express my happiness towards the fact that before implementing any changes or adjustments that have a direct impact on us, the students, the university management is consulting with the Students Union.

Yours sincerely,

Sorin-Marius Predica
