This year we are running regular online training days in place of in-person training for committee members. The training is compulsory for new and returning club and society committee members.
The training will run from 13:00 - 16:00* with comfort breaks. We will begin with core skills sessions for all clubs and societies and will then split into breakout rooms for clubs and different categories of societies where training will be tailored to those groups. We will finish the day with time for questions and optional networking.
To attend this training, you will need to purchase a free ticket to reserve your space. We will then send the Teams link closer to the date to you.
We will be using Microsoft Teams for the training and will be delivering training via Powerpoint. If you have any accessibility queries about this training or if you need the training resources in a different format, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are a parent or carer and would need childcare or support to be able to attend this full day training session, you can apply for the Inclusion Fund. All committee members for clubs and societies must attend one training session with the Student Activities team for their society to be affiliated. If you have not yet attended training and are unable to attend this training date or if you are unable to attend the full day, please contact us at email@example.com before the session.
