Life's a Beach Volunteering- POSTPONED


Join us on Wednesday 7th June to litterpick around the Waterways of the Chelmsford Campus!


This event is open to everyone and anyone who wishes to make a difference, reduce plastic waste and create a more sustainable future for all of us.

Travelling from Cambridge

There will be a mini bus leaving from Cambridge at 9.30am, please book the "Camb. Student/Staff" ticket for your free seat on this bus.


Travelling from Peterborough- TBC 


*Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and shoes. It's also worth bringing any water or snacks you might need throughout the day.*


Life’s a Beach is a charity set up by kitchen retailer ProCook, to support the eradication of single use plastics from British beaches and waterways and the promotion of reusable products. Life’s a Beach focuses its energy into three key missions:

  1. Beach Cleans: To remove waste from our beautiful UK beaches and waterways.
  2. Education: To educate and reach out to younger generations about plastic pollution.
  3. Sustainable Products: To encourage reusable alternatives to single use plastic
