We are looking for volunteers to give one hour of their week to tutor a disadvantaged secondary school pupil in a GCSE or A-Level subject of choice

We are looking for volunteers to give one hour of their week to tutor a secondary-school pupil in a GCSE or A-Level subject of choice.

 

We are looking for individuals who are…

  • UK-based university students, recent graduates, or experienced tutors 

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about their subject area(s)

  • Interested in helping to combat educational inequality 

  • Able to commit one hour per week for a minimum of one term

 

You will make a great tutor if you…

  • Communicate clearly and are highly organised

  • Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards your student

  • Maintain a growth mindset towards learning and tutoring practice

  • Enjoy acting as a role model for a young person
