Diabetes UK is leading the fight against the UK's biggest and growing health crisis. And it's a fight that involves us all – sharing knowledge and taking on diabetes together.
Currently Active Volunteering Roles:
Speaker Volunteer - Give talks to a wide range of people, from community groups to local companies or even in a local school. You will be helping people to learn more about diabetes, the different types, and different ways to manage the condition. Our Speaker Volunteers attend three 1hr 30min virtual training sessions to learn more about diabetes and Diabetes UK, and when completed you'll be given a presentation and information to start arranging talks in your local area.
English Football League Diabetes Champion- We are now recruiting volunteers to help extend our reach through building relations with English Football League clubs across the Midlands & East region. We are looking to build a powerful network of support at over 20 EFL clubs in the region. We want to have conversations with football fans to raise awareness of diabetes and our work.
