SHoKE Student Consult

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work as a management consultant? This is a unique opportunity to receive professional and practical consultancy training and then apply your skills as a member of a student consultancy team. You will explore real issues presented by our partners, Cambridgeshire and Essex County Councils and work with local government decision makers to deliver real value to the community.

You decide how much time you commit— we ask for a minimum commitment to 15 hours of training and 15 hours of project work. 

Volunteer Induction- 13th October 2021

Training starts- 18th October 2021

Research some of the big challenges we face as a society today, work with local government decision makers to make progress on important regional issues, make a real personal difference to society

Get a taste for consultancy through this opportunity, please note this role is only available to postgraduates and researchers. You will receive training, have support from a mentor and work collaboratively within a team. 

At the end of the project you will share the report and present your findings to the local government teams you have worked with.

The projects will last 3 weeks and are scheduled for November, February, March and June.
