Essex Youthbuild provide construction and employment skills training to disadvantaged teenagers from around Essex, leading to City & Guilds Level 1 and the Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment. They also provide one-to-one tuition in maths and English, leading to Gateway Qualifications' bitesize qualification.

Wednesday Evening Trade Club Volunteer

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Every Wednesday evening we hold a Trade Cub between 5.30pm and 7.30pm where young people can come and have a go at making things for instance bird box making or bricklaying. It is a fun, practical session so we are looking for volunteers who have a personal interest and practical skills so they can help the young people with the projects they are doing.

Application process

You will first be required to fill in an application form and then be invited for an informal chat
