Criminology - Cambridge

Hello everyone!

A very warm welcome to the Criminology Society. We started our journey last semester and have already hosted an event titled “freedom of speech” where multiple professionals participated in a debate, shared their opinions and pointed out some current issues the world of criminology is dealing with.

The society is a great way to make friends, have support and ask questions, university related or not. We are here to support each other and explore topics that interest us all. If you need someone to turn to but aren’t sure who, there is always someone having your back.

Joining a society is seen as volunteering so it looks good on your CV. It can prove useful when looking for a job as employers can see this as a positive experience where you used important skills like, teamwork, logic, independence and research skills.

We are planning on hosting a podcast where we invite different individuals with connections to criminology to present their point of view on a certain topic or participate in different activities. If you happen to be good with technology and have an interest in “directing” a podcast, please let us know if you would like to join the committee as a technician.

So if the criminology society is something you find interesting, don’t hesitate to email Asma or Kristina (or anyone else presenting) as we will be glad to answer your questions.

We don't have anything planned right now but check back soon!
