Mooting - Cambridge

Mooting is the art of presenting an oral legal argument to a Judge in a mock court case.

Anglia Ruskin Mooting Society aims to help students develop and build confidence in speaking publicly whilst helping them to develop their oral argument and presentation skills as well as their legal research and communication abilities.

In addition we aim to help build the students commercial awareness by debating the most current events and working with other societies that can aid the personal development of the members.

The society is open to all ARU students but should be of particular interest to those who intend to pursue a career practicing law or public speaking.
