People who are part of the Neonatology and Paediatrics Society are all brought together by one thing- our passion and love for helping children, especially when they need us most. Our sole aim as a society is to educate people about this incredible field of Medicine through a plethora of events.
- Hosting stimulating seminars with guest speakers who are at the forefront of their speciality.
- Organising Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings where we discuss cases of Neonates and Paediatrics with healthcare professionals just as we would in a clinical setting in the future.
- Posting a 'Case of the Week' on our social media. This will be an interactive and fun way to learn more about a certain disease and will be accessible to all year groups.
- Organising a 'Teddy Bear Hospital'. You have to be a member if you would like to be involved with this wonderul scheme.
Locally, NAPS have organised 5 main events to raise funds for our chosen charity, Kids Inspire, who aim to “Build relationships through therapy, opportunity, love and care”.
