What is LGBTQ+ History Month?
LGBTQ+ History Month is a month long celebration and commemoration of Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Bisexual and Non-Binary History around the world. Here at ARU, we have been working with a team of your student reps. to put together a programme of events and resources for you to take part in. Our aim is to provide a huge range of social, educational and celebratory activities for you to share with others in the ARU community.
What's on during LGBTQ+ History Month?
This year an amazing panel of students including your very own LGBT+ & Trans reps have created and organised all sorts of incredible events including a coffee morning, a series of articles on LGBTQ+ heroes throughout history, watch and reading lists and so much more. Take a look at our what's on calendar to find out more.
There are also lots of events going on across the world during this month. Click here for a full list of events that are free to access.
