Transforming students’ ideas into positive change

Jail or Bail - SU President Arrested

UPDATE - Total raised was £887.50 including gift aid. The event in total raised just under £23,500.

On the 26th March 2013 your Students' Union President - Francesca Rust, is set to be trialled at the Crown Court in Cambridge for copyright infringement of the Anglia Ruskin University logo.

Francesca is in need of your help. She needs to raise money now to be in with a chance of making the "bail" the judge orders on Tuesday.  The Students' Union unfortunately cannot help on this. She will be held at a secret location until bail is reached so get DONATING!

Please help raise awareness of this fantastic charity by spreading the word of this event and donate money!
Even if you can only spare £1, if we can get 1500 students that would be incredible!
Some of the other criminals have already raised over £100 so we need to show the strength of our student community towards this great cause!
This is all to raise money for Ormiston Children & Families Trust

Ormiston Children & Families Trust is all about making young lives better. It works with children and young people at the more challenging end of the social spectrum.

Ormiston is one of the largest charities supporting children, young people and their families in the East of England. We help and support children and young people who are experiencing prejudice and discrimination, those at risk of or experiencing physical harm, emotional or mental health problems, those who are displaying challenging or harmful behaviours, those who are the main carer for a parent or sibling and those who are affected by the imprisonment of a close family member. We work with the whole family to address the difficult situations they face and help them to make positive changes to their lives.
