This Weeks GIAG’s For All The Cambridgeshire Campus’

As everyone starts to come back to campus and lectures in the last semester of the year begin as well as the refresher’s evening events we have a variety of activities happening this week.

The first of our four planned trips for the semester is this weekend. We will be taking a coach of students to London for the day. For just £16 you will be driven to Embankment in the heart of the city and given the day to explore the vibrant and iconic city. If shopping is your thing or you want to see the sights you can! Each student is given a map of the tube and also a map of the city with all the major landmarks pointed out. Around 6pm we will be picked back up from Embankment and driven back to campus and dropped off. This is always a popular trip as it’s always the cheapest way to travel to and from London. If you want to book a place then come to the Student Union office on the 1st floor of the Helmore building.

On Sunday 3rd February we are holding the first of six women’s cricket taster sessions. These will be held between 6pm and 7pm at the Fenners cricket ground. If you have recently been inspired by the England women’s cricket team or just want to try out a new sport then join us. These sessions will be held by a fully qualified coach and equipment will be provided. If you want to book a place then come along to the Student Union office and sign up for just £2.
