Free Gym Workshop Sessions for staff!

Want to lose weight, get tips on free weights or improve posture come to the SU Gym's free workshop sessions!

The SU Gym are providing free taster sessions for staff, based on certain target areas. Here at the gym we can provide qualified advice on how to achieve your goals from our experienced trainers.
Our Lunchtime based workshop style sessions will give you an insight into the main methods of achieving your goals.
Our 3 sessions are based around:

Wanting to lose a few pounds! (Monday the 5th of November 1pm)

We will run you through some different stimulating training methods that will get rid of those last few pounds. A breakdown of intervals to circuits and the benefits of cardiovascular work will all be covered.

Making Free Weights work for you! (Wednesday the 7th of November 1pm)

Come to our free session and get a breakdown of the correct technique and tips in all the major exercises, there will also be advice on the best type of session to achieve you goals and some advice on how to put together a comprehensive weights programme.

Improving your posture and getting away from your desk! (Friday the 9th of November 1pm)

If you find it hard to get away from your desk and are slumped over a computer 9-5 everyday our instructor will show you a few exercises to make sure you don’t suffer. We will also give you a few fast and easy sessions to make the most of the time away from the computer.

All sessions will be around 45 minutes long and bring some kit so you can have a go at some of the exercises.

We will only be able to take 6 people per session and we will work on a first some first served basis.
