What do you study? 

Masters International Social Welfare and Social Policy 

 

Would you like us to direct students to a specific social media platform to reach you on? Or should they contact you by email only?

What are your campaigns/ what would you like to achieve for students this year? 

  • To increase the inclusion of more students in all activities. 

  • To bridge the information gap between students and SU 

  • Create platform for representation of ALL in SU programs and activities. 

  • My goal is to see percentage increase of student participation in all spheres of SU activities

Why are you passionate about this project idea? 

  • It gives me the opportunity contribute to the development of the SU 

  •  It’s a platform to build on my leadership and networking skills 

  • Avenue to lead an impactful project

What made you stand to be a Rep? 

I have always been fascinated by the work of the SU. Following the nomination, I received after my involvement in the ARU 2020 Global week event. The nomination was an avenue to awaken my inner desire to empower students further by standing for a rep position. 

 

What’s your favourite social media platform/ where can students find you to chat? 

?You will find me on Twitter retweeting university tweets and on Instagram following up on the activities of the SU and sharing it with fellow students. You can send me messages there and we can have a quick chat! I want to be chatting to students most the time, and I want to see what students are doing too!” 

 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time? 

5years from now, I see myself working/leading an International NGO as a School Leadership and Improvement Consultant.

Tell us something not many people know about you. 

I am called Hero because of my role in leading the voluntary blood donation campaign in Nigeria. I have donated 52 times till date and still counting. During my National Youth Service in Nigeria I earned the National Youth Service President Honors Award for establishing a library in my place of primary assignment.  

 

What's your ultimate ARU moment? 

Hmmm I am still collecting moments………. 

 

If you had a super power what would it be?? 

“Teleporting” it will be the ability to teleport to any place in the world
