A campaign by Amanda Campbell White, your VP for Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.

We all know that students are stressed. Our Let’s Be Honest report showed that '70.1% of ARU students reported feeling stressed'. This could be from a number of factors related to the student lifestyle, whether that’s rent, housing, money, exams, workload, etc. This stress has an impact on students’ studies, mental health and university experience.

Unfortunately, I can’t eliminate stress completely for students but I can at least try and help make life a little stressful!

CAMPAIGN AIMS:

  • Identify some of the stresses for students
  • Identify methods that work to de-stress students
  • Signpost students to Advice and other useful services provided by the university and Students' Union
  • Provide a De-Stress event for students to take a break from their busy lifestyle and de-stress!
