Hi Everyone,

Over the past few weeks it's been brought to my attention that there are several events running at the rink so I wanted to advertise them to you in case you were interested!

1. The Cambridge Ice Arena are now holding a coffee morning on Thursdays at 9am, and for the cost of £10 skaters participating will get exclusive use of  the ice, a 30 minute class with a qualified coach and 30 minutes practice time, plus a hot drink in the cafe to warm up! It’s designed to be a social session as well as an opportunity to learn more about skating. The lesson is open to all levels and two half hour classes will run within the hour if there is a wide variety of abilities in order for all to benefit (if only one class runs the coach will float and be on hand to help for the remainder of the session). The aim of the class is to help skaters work on their basics, including good quality stroking, edges abd turns etc, with relaxed music in the background. 
 

2. Family and adult Halloween skate, join us for a fun filled family skate at our new centre Cambridge ice arena, don't forget to get dressed in your best spooky outfit, 29th October 7pm-8.30pm. There are limited spaces available so please prebook through the better app or website, Please don't wear any fake blood, loose or dangling items of clothing and no clown outfits. 

3. Cambridge seasonal Ice exhibition, 21st December, 4.30pm-7pm. Performances and skating routines from Cambridge skaters, special guests and friends. Seasonal and skating vending stalls from Ruby loves costumes, Chris and Louisa wooden crafts, cakes Tracy bakes and Nikki's home-made preserves (cash only). Food and drink are available from the bar and there is a membership raffle. It is £4 for solo entry, £10 for group entry and £5 for a spectator. None of these events will be held with the Ice Skating Society due to funding however some of the members will probably attend and meet there!
