Yoga classes are back! (and we are online!)

Everyone comes to yoga for different reasons. Some come for the time-out and relaxation, but the practice is excellent for developing and relaxing muscles and so is exceptionally beneficial for sportspeople too. If you'd like to see what it's like or give it a try, ARU is a great place to start - you'll be surprised at what you can do.

Our yoga instructor, Daniela, runs open flow classes for a range of abilities. The classes begin and end with 5 minutes of relaxation time, although the content varies. The classes are as challenging as you're willing to work towards - from a gentle stretch to a good workout.

Beyond its reputation for promoting a mind-body-spirit balance, we, as students, also find it a fun way to meet new people from across the university.

Session Schedule - Trimester 1, 2020/2021

    Mondays 17:00 - 18:00 (via Zoom)

   Thursdays 17:00 - 18:00 (via Zoom)

Please book onto the class you wish to attend via the events calendar and login details will be sent out via email before the start of each session.

For our Zoom classes, please make sure you have adequate space to do your yoga safely and a clear view of yourself on camera. This is so that Daniela can offer feedback and ensure that everyone is working safely.

We hope to recommence face-to-face classes once restrictions are relaxed, however, the safety of our members is always our number one concern and priority.

Don't forget: Sessions on 21/9/20 and 24/9/20 are free but you must book onto the sessions!
