LGBT+ History 

February 2020 marked the UK's LGBT+ History Month celebrations. This year, we aligned with the national theme of 'Poetry, Prose, and Playwrights', running an incredible LGBTQ+ Scratch Night in Cambridge, and ARuPaul's Drag Race in Chelmsord (check out national events here)!

 

If you would like to host an event for LGBT+ History Month 2021, Or another national LGBTQ+ recognition day (E.G. Bi Visability, National Non-Binary Day, Trans Visability) and are a rep or part of a society, or even just a passionate student who has a great idea, please get in contact with Rose Guy (r.guy@angliastudent.com) or Amanda Campbell-White (a.campbell-white@angliastudent.com).

LGBTQ+ Representation:

What is the role of a Campaign Rep? It's a part-time, voluntary campus-based role which is designed to run alongside your studies. The LGBT+ Rep's and Trans' Reps will:

Act as a member of the Executive Committee, sit on the Liberation, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and lead campaign(s) to promote change to the benefit of students and support all campaigns organised by the Union.

Positions available:

LGBTQ+ Rep (Cambridge + Chelmsford)

Trans Rep (Cambridge + Chelmsford)
