Dear Surgical Society Members,
We’re pleased to bring you a new addition to this year – a surgical mentoring scheme! The aim is to pair those interested in a particular speciality with someone in that field who can provide an insight into what a career might look like. We have surgeons from across Essex with a wide variety of skills and experience willing to offer their time. This is a great opportunity for those wanting some experience to put on their CV. If you’re interested, read the attached guide and apply through completing this form here. Please bear in mind we may not be able to pair with a mentor right away, and things like f2f visits in a hospital might not be possible or practicable this year. We will do our best to find the right mentor for you based on the information you give us on the linked form.

P.S. Please note that this mentoring scheme is one specific to members of the ARU Surgical Society, and is targeted at the professional development of those interested in a career in surgery.
