Black History Month 2021: Understanding Privilege CPD Session

What is racial gaslighting? How do microaggressions affect a person’s well-being? How are privilege and identity connected? The Race Equality Advocates have developed informative and interactive sessions to answer these questions and more. During Black History Month, these CPD sessions will explore themes related to race equality and anti-racism. Sessions will be held online via Teams each Wednesday between 6th-20th October from 2-3:30pm. Every member of the ARU community is welcome!

What privileges do you hold? A session that reflects on social identity, intersectionality and their relationship with privilege. A scenario exercise and group reflection will be used to further explore these concepts.
