The Big Candidate Debate: The Election 2019

This year we are trying something new - think BBC Question Time meets This Morning. Each of your candidates will be offered the chance to take part in the Big Candidate Debate which we will be live streaming on Wednesday 20th February, from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

What will happen?

In turn, each position will have approximately 15 minutes to have a discussion/debate on contentious student topics, chaired by an impartial member of Students' Union staff and live streamed. Students will have the opportunity to submit questions and challenge the candidates throughout the event.

How can I get involved?

We will need you to submit questions/topics that we can ask the candidates, to submit them either email ustweet us or comment on the live stream on the night. You can either watch online, or come along and watch it first hand.
