Welcome to the biggest event in Freshers!

ARU Student's Union and The Academy are proud to present the Freshers 2018 Masquerade ball!

We know you love to look your best, so we thought we'd give you a chance to do so. The dress code will be smart, so get out your suits and dresses and get ready to party in style! Having a mask is a must, and it's a great way to showcase your personality so get creative!

To add even more flair and flavour to this night we'll be giving you a chance to meet new people using the famous Lock + Key system! It's really quite simple, collect your lock or your key at the front door and then find your perfect fit inside! This is a great chance to make friends and who knows, maybe you'll meet someone special!!

Live DJ - Keeping you dancing all night long with all the tunes you know and love, and maybe some new favourites!

Photobooth - Don't miss the chance to capture a memory of your Freshers Ball! The Photobooth will be available all night.

The Academy Bar - Our SU bar will be open all night long, with great drinks prices, bespoke cocktails and our friendly student staff to serve them!

Best Mask Giveaway Contest - We'll be giving away free entry and a free VIP table at MWMU the following week to two lucky students who we feel have gone above and beyond with their choice of mask so get creative!

Advanced tickets will be on sale soon @ £3 each, standard entry will be £4 per person on the door!

The Academy operates a Challenge 21 policy so don't forget your ID!
