De-stress Fest: Meet a Therapy Animal! (CHELMSFORD)

Alamanda Therapy Animals is a wonderful charity that brings gentle and cuddly creatures to the sick, needy, and terminally ill. We've brought them onto campus for De-stress Fest in order to provide some revision-season animal therapy to ARU students, as well! If you are stressed in the library, come take a break with a selection of small animals that will undoubtedly brighten your day! You can also find out about how therapy animals benefit those in hospice, care homes, and special needs schools.

Alamanda is a charity that offers the sick, needy and terminally ill the opportunity of a sensory experience with animals. The charity see their animals as a passion but also as part of their family. They often do therapy trips to special needs schools, hospices, charity events and also for single family visits and we are very lucky to have them visit us to help our students!

For the health and safety of the animals, you must pre-book this FREE event by selecting a time and receiving a ticket. Add the ticket to your basket and then 'Proceed to Checkout' - you will not be charged! Times are limited to half an hour and ten people per half-hour slot. Please only book one half-hour slot!
