Holi celebrates the vibrant arrival of spring, bidding farewell to winter while embracing love and new beginnings. It's a day of festivity where people come together to meet, play, laugh, and embrace forgiveness. The essence of Holi lies in its spirit of playfulness and inclusivity, welcoming everyone to join in the fun.

Everyone is invited to participate in the festival of colours! For just £7, your ticket includes a Holi-branded t-shirt, a live DJ, a massive colourful party, and loads of paint!

Why £7?

So you may ask, why £7? So we want to break that down for you. After the success of last years Holi celebration we were tasked with making this years bigger and better and on the feedback of student have gone from spending a total of about £2000 on Holi to this years aim to spend between £3500 - £4000. This means at the expense of the SU we need to look at making some of those funds back and feeding them back into this event and future SU events. We lose 20% through tax which means the money we take is £5.60 from this ticket with the subtraction of other transaction fees. This cost pays for the T-shirt custom printed for the event which will function as your event ticket, the cost of paint, a live DJ as part of the festival experience and obviously all the other requirements for an event of this scale. In the event we sell out, the money taken from the event will not profit over the estimated cost of £3500-£4000, you are just helping us build up this event and future events to enhance your ARU experience.

The colour powder is made from vegetable starch, dyed with food-grade colouring and is non flammable.
