MR PAUL PATTISON

Dear Researcher,
I understand that this role would be a practical one. If you vote for me, I would be dedicated to helping you achieve all your targets as a researcher. I understand this would involve co-ordinating matters between administration and postgraduate researchers in ALSS. I would feel comfortable in achieving this aim because of my broad and varied experience in administration in secondary and tertiary institutions over the years. I guess that should make it obvious that I am a mature age student. I am researching for a PhD in Creative Writing in ALSS. I also lecture in creative writing in the English and Media department, and teach foundation courses for Cambridge Ruskin International College based at Cambridge ARU. To summarise, my manifesto is not about political ideology or personal advancement. I simply believe I have the capability and experience to make researching in ALSS a more effective and enjoyable experience by liaising diplomatically between research students and admin staff. I would be concerned with helping all researchers in ALSS, and making it a more calm, fair and equitable environment in which to research.
Best,
Paul
