My name is Marium and I am currently a second year student midwife. 

I am running for Midwifery Course Rep because I believe that during arguably our most crucial year of the course, it’s important that we have effective and approachable representation, in order to communicate and ease our concerns. I aim to do this by continuing to be friendly and approachable and by maintaining my good relationships between both my peers and lecturers.

Having gotten used to the course and its demands, I can see some areas for improvement and have the passion and commitment to take these ideas forward as well as your own ideas and concerns. 

I strongly believe that our voices should be heard and I hope you will consider me to put these forward.
