Actions

Equal Education:

  • I would collect feedback from students and would set up a platform where students can feel comfortable to provide feedback without being judged
  • To do this I would get into contact with the module leader(s) of each module to find out if it would be possible to set up a discussion board for issues on Canvas
  • If a student did not want to be public with their issues then I would provide my email for people to contact me and I would pass the collected information onto the correct member(s) of staff

Your Opinion is Welcome:

  • If a person has a problem I would make sure that their opinion was passed onto the correct member(s) of staff and I would not stop until I had an answer
  • I hate unanswered questions and I will push with their voice is heard
  • If an outcome cannot be reached then I would explain to the student and I would talk to them in order to find out if there is another way in which their issue(s) could be approached

Educational Trips:

  • Educational Trips will be organised by asking student which area of Forensic they are into
    • This information can then be passed onto the module leaders so that themselves and I can work together to find companies that would be willing to accommodate these selected areas
  • For example, if a person was interested in cyber-crime then the module leader of Digital Forensic and I can work alongside each other to find companies and/or laboratories that could provide services for an education trip
  • This would be great because it would help students get a understanding of which area they would like to explore and would help student to get a hands-on opportunity, which would further be beneficial for work experience opportunities

Work Experience:

  • I would love for the students of Crime and Investigation Studies to be able to experience a Forensic work environment
  • I believe that if I collected more feedback from students about the issue(s) they have faced with finding work experience then I can pass this information onto the module leader(s) and course leader in order for these staff members to help and possibly have a platform that student can access for updated on any opportunities that could be suitable
