Hi everyone,

My name is Lucie Hamilton and I am a year 3 student on the BA hons Early Childhood Professional Studies degree on the Chelmsford campus. For the past two years I have been the course rep for this course and I have really enjoyed learning new skills alongside being the voice for my peers. Over those two years I have been punctual, engaged and proactive at attending meetings and putting forward the views of my classmates and other students at Anglia Ruskin. I believe that students need to work alongside the staff at ARU to make our university experience both enjoyable and beneficial and I believe that I have been instrumental in achiveing some positive changes both with this course and the services provded for those studying it.

I would like to stand for this position for a third year as I believe that I can continue to dedicate the time and enthusiam for this post and that I will bring a positive and encouraging energy to this position, using my knowledge of the past two years as a basis to learn further and achive more on behalf of my fellow peers. After seeing the changes put in place from my previous years as course rep, I am confident that I can provide an equal level of success for another year. I believe I am apprachable, confident and articulate which will result in both my peers and the staff being able to liaise with me and work together to achieve the goals and outcomes desired by both myself and those around me.
