Dear colleagues,

Many of you know me, many of you – particularly our colleagues here for one year or who have returned from a placement year, may not. For the past two years I have had the honour to have been the course rep for International Business Management and have represented you at different levels; from Student Staff Liaison Committees to the Student Union council meetings.

Whenever a problem has occurred, whether its issues with modules or unclear assignments, I have acted swiftly to bring about a solution. Sometimes this has not always been quick enough, there have been times when a problem has not been able to be resolved for our year but has for our colleagues coming after us.  

Two years ago I stood on a manifesto to improve our course, until now this has been through small, gradual, changes. Until now.

As some of you are aware our course has lacked a course based society. In order to rectify this I am currently working with colleagues and the SU to develop such a society – The International Business Society. Already we have activities planned for this semester, be sure to keep an eye on your emails for further details.

I ask you to again elect me as your course rep for this our final year. Let me put the skills and experience developed over the past two years to continue representing you.
