Hello ARU, I’m Charlotte and I want to stand for LGBT rep so I can represent this population and their allies in the 2020/21 election. 

I stand for equality, recognition and representation of every student in ARU. I wish to identify institutional problems which are barriers to fairness or representation in the university, for all students and for all people - and work to raise awareness  and subsequently  break them down. 

I feel that I’m the right person for the job because this is a much needed role which needs passion and dedication.  in my time at ARU I have been involved in the establishment of an LGBTQ+ Society and wish to take this further, creating a community and robust support network at ARU. It has been difficult establishing a presence on campus but I am committed to the cause and feel that taking this role will help create links and further opportunities to make student life better for LGBTQ+ students, staff and allies.
