Hello,

My name is Matthew Sledge & I am running to be your new Faculty Rep.

As a student of Politics, with ambitions to move into the political field post-graduation, I understand what's required of you to be a representative. I have spent the past academic year as Course Rep. for my PoliticsYear 2 group & throughout that time, have sought out and listened to everybody I represent's thoughts and feelings on a regular basis. There have been challenges for those I represent during this period, but I'm proud to say that all concerns have been addressed and resolved with positive outcomes. The reason I am running for Faculty Rep. is that I feel I am able to bring these successes beyond my course to benefit the AHSS Faculty at large.

In short, I plan to give a voice to every student I am elected to represent & to work closely with students and staff alike, with the sole aim of making the University a better place for all of those currently studying, and for those who come after us.
