Hi, I am Luqman, I’m a first-year medic and I am running for NUS delegate because I want to represent Anglia Ruskin university at NUS national conference. The NUS National Conference will set the agenda that the NUS will be working on for the year and its imperative that we have representative voices from Anglia Ruskin that will speak on the issues that matter to us most. If you believe students should be allowed to pursue education without being discriminated against, that everyone is given a fair chance and is supported; Vote Luqman for NUS delegate!

AS a delegate, I will;

1. Support and increase funding for Mental health provisions and campaigns; I believe there should be an increase in student support networks and increased funding for mental health services.
2. Fight against Discrimination as I believe that everyone should be entitled to education without any discrimination whether that be Islamophobia, antisemitism, homophobia, sexism or anything else.
3. Support the free education campaigns especially the National Education Service that the NUS has introduced this year.

Students are at the forefront of change in the UK and we need dedicated and empowered students from ARU to join that fight.
